One of the strategies people use to increase their productivity and move forward with their tasks and goals is to make a “to-do” list. This is a written manifesto of the tasks they want to achieve that they can the cross off as each one happens.

But this article suggests that in order to make yourself more productive (and get that list done) you should first make a mental “to-don’t” list. These are the things that you need to avoid so that you don’t become unproductive and distracted from our goals. By saying “no” you get to “yes” faster.
